The November 2021 new month’s message of the National President of All Nigeria Conference of Evangelical Drama Ministers (ANCEDRAM), Pastor Kingsley Nwachukwu, is a lesson in proffering solution to the underdevelopment the President noted with concern in an association loaded with so much human and material resources. He shouted it at the rooftop that every member must be humble enough to respect and embrace one another’s grace for growth and development to take place.

Pastor Kingsley’s first port of call was the scripture where he mentioned, from Elisha, through Saul and Joseph, even unto Jesus, how they all have to be introduced unto their stage of manifestation through somebody else. He promptly declared,

“The ANSWERS to many prayers are with men, not in Heaven. It’s time we appreciated the differences in GRACE, assignments and postings.”

In a segmented message, he identified this factor of failing to embrace another man’s grace as what has hampered floating mega film projects in the order of Esin Ajoji particularly in the Eastern and Northern Regions of the association.

Thereafter, in an allegorical manner, Pastor KC began to call out the different organs of the association to embrace one another’s grace and harmonise their efforts for the association to move forward. He particularly appreciated the state executives of the various states.

He said: “For Our State Executives: You are doing wonderful jobs. Don’t be discouraged. God is always a REWARDER of every work of faith.”

In addition, the National President reiterated that the National Secretariat of the association situated in Mowe, Ogun State is a key focus of the administration as he as well encouraged all who have not registered in the National Directory to do so as the deadline will again be extended to November ending without any further excuse.

In the mood of the season, all states are instructed to “organise End-of-the-Year Thanksgiving and Love Feast in any of the weekends of December.”

As a parting shot, Pastor Kingsley encouraged all members of the association to start saving towards Enugu 2022, ANCEDRAM National Congress next year.

“We wish to encourage us to start saving and making arrangements for the national conference; the weekend after Easter. Let’s start planning (dotting our i’s and crossing our t’s) for transportation, flights, feeding and soon-to-be-released PRE-REGISTRATION fee”.

ANCEDRAM PRESIDENT’S NOVEMBER 2021 NEW MONTH MESSAGE

Welcome to the Month of NOVEMBER, 2021.

BE HUMBLE: YOU NEED A MAN

Prophet Elijah introduced Elisha. Samuel introduced Saul. The Chief Butler introduced Joseph. Our Lord Jesus Christ, knowing full well that he was not of the Levitical lineage, willingly submitted himself to be introduced by John the Baptist, the reigning star of his days. This further culminated in his divine announcement by Heaven:

“This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. LISTEN TO HIM”.

My beloved co-workers, it is obvious that whatever a man needs, and will ever need, is within reach. The ANSWERS to many prayers are with men, not in Heaven. The latter will only open your eyes to see the solution (Gen 18:16) or inspire men to help you (Esther 6:1).

It’s time we appreciated the differences in GRACE, assignments and postings.

GRACE has little or nothing to do with age, sex, academic qualification or social status.

1. OH WEST, THE EAST AND NORTH HOUSES NEED THEE!
I remember vividly when I was in the North. There came a time when ANCEDRAM (Northern Region) wanted to shoot her own movie in the order of “Esin Ajoji” (of which I served as the production manager). All my plea and insistence on the appearance of ONE MAN in the project (even if it was just a scene) was never heeded. We were consumed with a passion to shoot a movie of exclusive internal input ( northern cast and crew). We missed the opportunity!

Few years later, I relocated to the East. There came a need to shoot a national film of Eastern extraction. I was again appointed as the Production Manager. All my encouragement and insistence again on the appearance of ONE MAN in the project were taken lightly. I was made to understand that the man has prayed for us. Prayer? Prayer is good, but not the right key at that moment. Another serious-minded co-worker added,

“But what can we do?”

What can we do? We can do a lot. Persuasion! Persuasion!! Persuasion!!! Even God can be persuaded (convinced to do otherwise despite his previous conviction).

Hezekiah altered a judgement against his life (2 Kings 20). Abraham changed the presumed judgement of Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen 22:13). It’s a matter of deep conviction and commitment.

Please, my brethren, our God is too systematic and organized. When He entrusts a particular GRACE into someone, He expects others to take a cue from the vessel or patiently undergo different chain of examinations in order to attain the same status. The latter will definitely consume time and energy. The individual may even collapse at the edge of breakthrough. Why should you prefer to source from America what you can easily access in your neighborhood?

Today, ANCEDRAM can be likened to a TRIPOD (Northern Region, Eastern Region and Western Region).

The Western Region has a complete house: a house with good foundation, more than four ideal pillars and good roof. But unfortunately, it has a very wide, back door. It was initially meant to serve some security function but is now serving as a quick exit point.

The House of the Eastern Region has a good foundation, about three-and-a-half pillars with no roof. Hence it is a seasonal house that cannot accommodate people in time of heavy sunshine and rainfall.

The House of the North has a good foundation, about two-and-a-half pillars with no roof. The same seasonal house.

Just imagine a National Film project with concepts from Elders Hans Stephen (North), Damian Duruewuru ( East), Paul Adaramola ( West), all harmonised by Mike Agboola, and featuring Mike Bamiloye and other drama ministers from Northern and Eastern Regions. The two regions will automatically open up. The impact of such project will exceed fifteen years of hard labour and murmuring for ANCEDRAM break-forth.

The reason why the Eastern and Northern projects never saw the light of the day is the afore-mentioned.

If the ONE MAN were to be part of the productions, many things could have been altered. The scripts could have even been amended on set as the said minister would not want to be associated with substandard productions or productions with less gospel value.

My call this month is for us to think pharmacistically. The vaccine for every reptile is gotten from the reptile. The answers to those challenges in our individual ministries, families and businesses, are not in Heaven. They are with MEN.

2. DEAR BONE CREW, ACTION!

For my Co-National Executives, ANCEDRAM can be likened to a film project.

*The Executive Producer ( owner of the project) is God.
*The Producers( frontliners) are the BOT.
* The Associate Producers are the ACE.
* The Technical Crew is the BONE; with the
President as Director,
Vice Presidents, West, East and North as Assistant Directors,
Secretary General as Editor,
Assistant General Secretary as Location Manager,
Director of Public Relations as Director of Photography,
Director of Publicity as Light and Sound Manager,
Director of Research as Continuity Man,
Director of Code of Conduct as Production Manager,
Director of Special Duty as Gaffer,
Business Director as Costumier & Props Manager,
Copyright Director as MakeUp Artiste,
Prayer Secretary as Set Designer,
Welfare Director as Welfare
Financial Secretary as Accountant
*The entire BONE as SCRIPTWRITERS, approved by the Producers.
*Then, the main ACTORS (all members). This constitutes the largest number and the key determinant of how things will develop; they can support or frustrate the crew, depending on how they are managed!

We need to be courageous and focused in this 18 remaining months so as meet the targets of the Executive Producer; and for the sake of the future assignments He may have for us, individually.

Do not allow the criticisms of, and your experience with, some of the actors to scare you away from your duty posts. A kitchen personnel should not be afraid of heat. A war leader should not be scared of BULLETS; he should, in fact, be conversant with the sounds of different gun shots! Let’s do our BEST and leave the rest for history, our conscience and GOD.

3. GREAT STATE EXECUTIVES, YOUR REWARD COMETH!

For Our State Executives: You are doing wonderful jobs. Don’t be discouraged. God is always a REWARDER of every work of faith. He knows the TIME and MANNER to reward the work of faith (Esther 6:1). Don’t ever serve grudgingly. God loves cheerful service. As already emphasised by the Scribe of the House, Dr. Olotu, work towards meeting with the elders in your state. Just do your BEST and listen more to God. There are sounds of the GONG that are only audible to the man on throne. It’s all about time and seasons!

4. O, OUR NATIONAL SECRETARIAT, SPRING UP!

Our National Secretariat is a great part of this administration’s agenda. We are trusting God that some parts of the building should be put to use before the end of this administration so as to enable the next administration work on developing regional/liaison offices for deeper penetration into the grassroots.

5. NATIONAL DIRECTORY, TARRIEST THOU TILL NOVEMBER

For the National Directory, I wish to appeal, on behalf of every good-hearted member who is making genuine effort to get registered, to the secretariat for extension of the date of submission of bio-data to the end of NOVEMBER, with no more excuses. Special kudos to the National Secretariat.

6. LO, LET’S DANCE AND DINE IN DECEMBER!

We encourage every State to organize End-of-the-Year Thanksgiving and Love Feast in any of the weekends of December. This will attract OPEN HEAVEN and afford us the opportunities as drama ministers to fellowship with one another in preparation for better 2022 OUTING.

7. BEHOLD ENUGU 2022, BE PREPARED!

With the permission of our BOT and the stakeholders involved, we wish to encourage us to start saving and making arrangements for the national conference; the weekend after Easter. Let’s start planning (dotting our i’s and crossing our t’s) for transportation, flights, feeding and soon-to-be-released PRE-REGISTRATION fee.

It’s time! LET’S DO IT TOGETHER and change the NARRATIVE!

Pst KC Nwachukwu
(National President)
