ANCEDRAM MONDAY FASTING AND PRAYER / WEEK 25 / MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2021

“GUARD YOUR HEART

(PROVERBS 4:23)

Many people, some Christians and ministers of God alike, believed that their faith resides in their hearts. They go to the extreme that they can do whatever they like in as much as their hearts are “pure!” What a misconception! They’re not aware of the fact that they are the products of their hearts.

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee [Proverbs.23:7; KJV]

Says the Scripture. Every human being exhibits the contents of his/her heart. Before you stand, sit, walk or take other physical action, it has been ruminated over right in your heart.

Man’s heart is so deep. No wonder the Bible says it is desperately wicked! The condition of your heart determines your actions, reactions and inactions.

The matter of the heart is the heart of the matter.

As ministers of God on various fields of evangelism in God’s vineyard, our hearts must be guarded and ruled by Christ JESUS. He must circumcise our hearts and remove the Adamic nature of sin. We must cooperate with the Holy Spirit through the word of God to regularly cleanse our lives and conscience of every form of filthiness. We must be focused on the Holy things of God [Col.3:1ff], as we consciously regulate what enters our mind by God’s word [Proverbs 4:23].

As we go in the journey of November, let’s have this as our watchword: When my heart is right with God, my life will be right with and before God.

SHALL WE PRAY:

1. Let us appreciate God for giving us life to see another month, the 11th and 2nd to the last in the year 2021.

2. Let us pray that God shall circumcise our heart to stand firm in His holiness and righteousness.

3. Let us pray that God shall help our spirit-man
to cooperate with the Holy Spirit so that we can live a sanctified, purified, sacrificed life and fulfil our original destiny.

4. Let us pray for all drama ministers that the Lord shall release on us all that we need in all ramifications of life to enable us serve God in Spirit and truth.

5. Let us pray that “Oh Lord, I surrender my life, my heart to you Holy Spirit. I refuse to disappoint or fail you in life, family and ministry in JESUS name.”

6. Will you please pray that “Oh Lord, let my heart be preoccupied with the mysteries of Your kingdom as a message to my generation.”

7. Shall we pray that as we move closer to the end of 2021, we shut the doors of our lives, families, ministries and all the ministers of God against all kinds of evil and death in JESUS name.

8. Pray more as the Spirit of God leads you.

HAPPY NEW MONTH.
SHALOM.
